1. Dounya Legal Pro

Dounya Legal Pro (DLP), Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number 42098984, can be contacted at dounyalegalpro@gmail.com and 06 8766 6531. The visiting address is shielded in the Dutch Business Register.

2. When does an engagement begin?

An intake or initial contact is not yet a paid engagement. We discuss in advance what work DLP will carry out, the costs and any external costs that may arise. An engagement is formed when you agree to these arrangements. We record any different arrangements in writing.

3. What does DLP do?

DLP provides legal support, including help with applications, objections and documents. DLP is not a law firm and does not guarantee a particular outcome or decision by a public authority. When a lawyer’s assistance is needed, we discuss the collaboration and the lawyer’s role in advance. An engagement with a lawyer and their fees are agreed separately.

4. Your information and deadlines

Provide the information and documents needed for the agreed work as fully and promptly as possible. Report important changes immediately. DLP will tell you which documents or actions are still needed. Statutory deadlines and deadlines set by an authority remain important: contact us directly in urgent cases and do not wait for a reply through the intake form.

5. Fees and payment

The fee and payment arrangements are set out in the individual engagement confirmation or quotation. Third-party costs, such as official fees, translations or a lawyer, are discussed with you in advance. DLP does not charge these as its own fee without agreement. The invoice states the payment deadline.

6. Changes and ending an engagement

If the engagement changes or additional work is needed, we first discuss the implications for the work and costs. You can end an engagement. Any fee due then depends on work already performed, costs incurred and your statutory rights. Consumers retain all statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal for a distance contract. If you ask us to start during the cooling-off period, we explain the consequences in advance.

7. Due care, privacy and complaints

DLP carries out the agreed work with due care. We treat your information confidentially and in accordance with the privacy notice. If you are dissatisfied, email your complaint to dounyalegalpro@gmail.com. We discuss the complaint and try to find a solution together. These terms do not limit your statutory rights.

8. Applicable law

The agreement is governed by Dutch law. Mandatory rules protecting consumers continue to apply.
